Essen NY Deli is owned by Yitzy Jacobowitz and was opened in 2011. It is one of the few remaining old fashioned delis in New York and Brooklyn. The walls are decorated with old fashioned photos of the good old days and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Essen NY has a full menu ranging from firm traditional favourites to Chinese and Italian classic pastas all hand made on the premises.
