Pizaza has long been a firm favourite for all things pizza. They offer a great selection of pizza and I was surprised to find a selection of salads on the menu as well.
Most of them were nothing special, your standard salad. But the Pizaza salad was a nice surprise and more reminiscent of a different type of eatery. With salty grilled haloumi cheese, offset by the sweetness of the caramelised nuts and the acidity of the strawberries in combination with the creamy avocado, it was a winner.
The overall atmosphere was not very pleasant. At lunch time during the winter, it was so cold that we sat in our coats the entire time. It is a rather poorly lit and ventilated restaurant with a lack of day light and fresh air. The screens at each table are a hit with the kids though. We love the food, but prefer to take out.
